DESCRIPTION:Presented by Gadsden State Community College\n\n\n\nThere are good things happening in education in our community. From pre-kindergarten to post-graduate institutions\, innovation and creativity are alive in our classrooms. The Chamber\, Gadsden/Etowah County wants to recognize educators of all kinds\, administrators\, support staff\, students\, and community members for their contributions to quality education in Northeast Alabama. Join us in celebrating our nominees and award recipients.\n\n\n\nAlthough this event is usually held as an awards luncheon\, social distancing requirements during COVID-19 dictate that we retool to produce a top-notch virtual program - and we are excited to do so! Tune in on Wednesday\, September 30 at 4 pm to see all of our award winners and celebrate our educators and partners in education! \n\n\n\nProceeds from this event will support the Etowah Workforce Academy\, a professional development day for area educators that immerses them in local industry and training programs that are available for their students.
