DESCRIPTION:Join us in celebrating nominees and award recipients in the field of education at the annual Excellence in Education & Teachers of the Year Awards Ceremony Presented by Gadsden State Community College! There are good things happening in education in our community. From pre-kindergarten to post-graduate institutions\, innovation and creativity are alive in our classrooms. The Chamber\, Gadsden/Etowah County wants to recognize educators of all kinds\, administrators\, support staff\, students\, and community members for their contributions to quality education in Northeast Alabama. \n\n\n\nProceeds from this event will support the Etowah Qualified Workforce Immersion Program. A professional development day for area educators. The program helps educators tailor their curriculum to include information about career options and answer questions or provide guidance for students.
