DESCRIPTION:Do you work with women or have women in your workplace? Join us for the 9th anniversary celebration of Advancing Women to the Top\, a professional development conference for all women in the workplace! Kick back\, hear from exciting industry professionals\, grow closer with coworkers\, enjoy local eats\, indulge in local wines\, and make new friends in your network! The event will be on July 18th\, 2024 at the Venue at Coosa Landing!\n\n\n\nSo what is it?: Advancing Women to the Top Conference is an annual conference designed with the woman in mind. Feel empowered and inspired with messages specifically catered for you\, and advance to higher levels of leadership professionally and personally.\n\n\n\nAt the conference you'll socialize\, make connections\, and fellowship with local businesses in Etowah and Calhoun County. Hear from dynamic speakers from all across Alabama in diverse sectors of industry\, and enjoy a delicious breakfast\, lunch\, and "wine" down session.\n\n\n\nBreaks between sessions will allow attendees to network amongst each other and visit local vendor booths as well as include snacks and bites from local caterers (Cash on hand will be beneficial!)\n\n\n\nSome local vendors and booths include:\n\nProfessional headshot booth ($45 headshots)\n\nBuild Your Own Flower Bouquet Cart\n\nMassage and spa trials\n\nHat bar\n\nBoutique\n\nAnd more!\n\n\n\nHow do I attend or support?: Registration is open now! Seats for general attendees are $75 per person. $25 early-bird discount until June 21st! If you are considering attending with your company\, sponsorships provide bulk seating\, and help directly support the event\, as well as provide scholarships to first-year freshman at Gadsden State and JSU. With a career background that spans from public relations\, marketing\, and broadcast media to education\, entertainment\, and corporate training\, Angela has worked with a host of non-profit and civic organizations\, education systems\, and companies such as Sony Pictures\, Roboyo USA\, Porsche Cars of North America\, and Chick-fil-A. Her experiences have provided her the opportunity to help franchise business owners\, entrepreneurs\, administrators\, educators\, ministry leaders\, and emerging organization leaders grow their businesses and organizations\, build their brands\, ignite their influence\, and share their stories while impacting others.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLajuana Bradford is head of Corporate Philanthropy and Partnerships for Regions. Her extensive career in the financial services industry spans more than 33 years. She oversees major bank giving\, national and community partnerships\, disability services and outreach\, and service member and veterans affairs.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAmanda Salazar is currently the Vice President of Communications and Membership at Manufacture Alabama. She commits to bridging the gap between Alabama manufacturers\, those who serve the manufacturing industry\, and government officials through the state's only trade association dedicated exclusively to the needs of manufacturers. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nActivity led by The Barrie Center: The mission of the James M.
