Workshop for Educators\, Social Workers\, Law Enforcement\, Certified Life Educators\, Counselors\, etc.\n\n\n\nAbout this event\n\nWe\, here at the Children's Policy Council of Etowah County\, will be having a Virtual Workshop for Educators\, Social Workers\, Counselors\, Law Enforcement\, CFLEs\, etc. Our workshop is about Kids In Dangerous Situations (KIDS) Workshop. We will have the following topics:\n\n Kids\, tweens\, teens\, Social Media\, and Trafficking: How our kids can be easily groomed through social media.\n Trauma from Child Abuse: What happens in Court and how can we help our kids?\n Child Abuse Victims and the Facilitiy Dog who are trained to help kids feel safe.\n Eating disorders on the rise for our children\n\n\n\nClick Here to Save Your Spot\n\n\n\nThe Talladega College Social Work Department sponsored the 5 social work CEs and are working to build relationships with community organizations throughout Northeast Alabama.\n\n\n\nThe Alabama Social Work Examiners Board is a recognized provider of nursing continuing education (CE) by the Alabama Board of Nursing (ABN). Licensed nurse attendees must electronically upload the certificate to their Individual CE Record on the ABN website to claim the CE awarded. ABN Administrative Code 610-X-10-.04(2)(d) and 610-X-10.-07(1)(d).
