DESCRIPTION:Annual Memorial Day Program at Col. Ola Lee Mize Patriots Park near the Noccalula Falls Park Entrance. Program begins at 10am and lasts about 30 minutes. There will be about 200 chairs put out by Gadsden Parks and Rec. so bring a chair and find a shade if possible. The McLaughlin Detachment\, Marine Corps League will be set up with free water and snacks\, so go by and visit their table. \n\n\n\nThis year is the unveiling of the new obelisk inside the War Memorial. This unfortunately was needed to expand names of those lost from Etowah County in present day and future wars.\n\n\n\nPlease come out and Remember those that have the ultimate sacrifice serving our wonderful country!
