DESCRIPTION:Join us November 16\, 6-8 P.M.\, for the opening reception of "Body of Light"\, a photography installation by Katie Lanier. The reception is free and open to the public.\n\n\n\n\n\nFrom the Artist's Statement: \n\n\n\nWith the "Body of Light" exhibition\, I wanted to create an opportunity for the viewer to question their own relationship to light and the female figure. Light is so much more intrinsic to life than people think. Tangibles would not come to fruition without intangible\, abstract ideas. Darkness and light need each other to exist. I offer this show as a homage to beauty\, the unseen\, to the worthiness of every heartbeat beneath the skin of each body of light.
