DESCRIPTION:Chamber members are invited to drop in between 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday\, October 28 to meet the legislative candidates vying for house and senate seats in the November 4 general election.\n\n\n\nInvitations to participate have been sent to all house and senate candidates that represent our area. Additional participants may be added closer to date. \n\n\n\nConfirmed for participation to date are: \n\nSenate District 10\n\nPhil Williams (R) - Incumbent\n\nLarry Means (D)\n\nHouse District 28\n\nCraig Ford (D) - Incumbent\n\nDoug Sherrod (R) \n\nHouse District 29\n\nBecky Nordgren (R) - Incumbent\n\nMichael Gladden (D)\n\nHouse District 30\n\nnone\n\n\n\nThe Chamber will provide light refreshments. Candidates will each have a table in the board room\, and they will be present throughout the event to meet and greet with Chamber members. They will be allowed to distribute literature\, hand out yard signs and sign up campaign volunteers at their tables\, as well.\n\n\n\nMost importantly\, they'll be available to listen to the concerns of our Chamber members in hopes of being their representative in the 2015 session. This is a great opportunity to share your ideas on how they may be able to help improve business and commerce in our area\, as well as learn about where they stand on other issues that are important to you.\n\n\n\nReservations are required. This event is a privilege of membership.
