DESCRIPTION:The City of Champions Half Marathon & 5k is Gadsden's first road half marathon. You'll be part of history when you run the first annual City of Champions Half Marathon & 5k. Enjoy a moderately challenging run through downtown Gadsden. The run starts and ends at Back Forty Beer Company.\n\n	Click Here to Sign Up!\n	Click Here for Sponsor Information\n\n\n\nThe half marathon will begin at 7 A.M.\, the 5k will begin at 7:30 A.M.. Stick around after awards for the post party hosted by Back Forty Brewing Company.  Packet pickup and pre-party Friday November 16th at Back Forty. T-shirt deadline is November 6th.\n\n\n\nHalf Marathon participants will receive a custom medal when they cross the finish line.\n\nCash Prizes will be awarded to half marathon top 3 male and female finishers:\n\n\n	1st place - $300\n	2nd place - $200\n	3rd place - $100\n\nCustom Back Forty Brewing Company Pint Glasses will be awarded to age group winners. 5k age group winners will receive custom medals.\n\n\n\nT-Shirt Deadline: November 6\, 2018\n\nFirst 200 runners will receive a custom Gadsden Runners Club race bag.\n\n\n\nIndividual age group awards for 1st\, 2nd\, 3rd.
