The program is a PAID training program for those individuals in need of work skills and job placement assistance. \n\n \n\nWe are currently taking applications for the upcoming 2019-2020 calendar year! It is geared toward individuals whose goal is competitive employment in the community. \n\n \n\nEtowah County Project Search takes place in Gadsden Regional Medical Center\, where the interns are immersed in the work environment. They participate in up to 3 different rotations or jobs in the Hospital to explore a variety of career paths and gain experience in these areas. Each intern works with our team of job coaches\, teacher and vocational rehab counselor\, to gain the knowledge and skills necessary for the working world. The interns benefit by acquiring these competitive and marketable skills\, while gaining independence\, maturity\, confidence and self-esteem. They also receive individualized coaching\, instruction and feedback as they train\, and are placed in a job!\n\n \n\nAlabama currently has 6 Project Search programs across the State!
