This will allow for social distancing during the meeting. Masks are required for entry and exit and while traveling between rooms\, but we will spread out so that we can unmask for discussion. Please refrain from attending if you have symptoms and/or direct exposure concerns on that day. Hopefully\, we'll be a little closer to getting over this by then!\n\nWe are obviously going to be behind on collecting nominations and applications this year - we typically start this process toward the end of November. With so much uncertainty going on\, it just seemed overwhelming to get started that early this year. Perhaps by now we have settled into our new abnormal routines and can get our reach far and wide to get nominations and applications much faster this year. \n\n\n\nWith normalcy looking like it's not likely by the end of this school year\, I think we may be safer planning for a similar "drive-by" awards ceremony and the development of a production again. Gadsden State (aka Jackie and her team) did an incredible job putting together the awards show and I know many teachers asked for the link to share with friends and family long after our initial broadcast. \n\n\n\nI hope you all can make it! I look forward to seeing you all and making some final decisions on how we can creatively innovate this year's virtual ceremony to be meaningful and appreciative to all that we will recognize! \n\n\n\nIf you already have your Teachers of the Year information collected\, please feel free to bring it with you and/or email it to me at your convenience. \n\n\n\nThanks so much everyone!
