Mark your calendar and attend the Alabama Department of Revenue's free Business Workshop scheduled for Tuesday\, Feb. 24\, 2015\, at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.\, in Gadsden. The workshop will be held at the Gadsden/Etowah County Chamber of Commerce\, 1 Commerce Square\, (corner of Walnut St. and 1st St.)\, in Gadsden. The free workshop will cover a variety of state tax information topics\, including employer withholding  taxes\, state and local sales taxes\, property taxes\, and business licensing requirements. An overview of Alabama's business tax electronic filing programs will also be presented. Existing business owners are also invited to attend this free workshop.
