DESCRIPTION:"From Classicism to Romanticism"\, the mid-season concert of the Gadsden Symphony Orchestra's 2014-2015 concert season will occur next Sunday\, February 15th\, at 2:30 P.M.\n\n\n\nThe concert will be held at the Gadsden City High School Performance Center and will feature the Gadsden Symphony Orchestra and the returning performance of the incredible Russian piano virtuoso Maria Lyapkova.  Miss Lyapkova will perform Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major.  Many of you had the pleasure of hearing her perform with the Gadsden Symphony Orchestra last year. She is a graduate of Moscow (Russia) State Conservatory\, received Professional Performance Certification from the Lyn University Conservatory of Music and has appeared as a soloist and chamber musician throughout the United States and Europe.\n\n \n\nThe orchestra will also perform Beethoven's Overture to the Opera\, Fidelio any his Symphony No. 2 in D Major. We expect a full house for this remarkable concert and look forward to seeing you.  Doors will open at 1:00 P.M.\n\n\n\nThere will be also be a pre-concert seminar by Conductor Les Fillmer. Concert tickets will be available at the door\, or may be purchased at wallacehall.org. Tickets prices are: $20.00\, $15.00 for seniors and $5.00 for students of all ages.
