DESCRIPTION:Gadsden State Community College's Athletic Department is partnering with the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation\, a non-profit organization that connects children battling pediatric brain tumors with college and high school sports teams.\n\nGadsden State Athletics will signal the "adoption" of two families during a special signing event at 4 p.m. Nov. 30 in the Beck Gymnasium on the Wallace Drive Campus.\n\nThrough the adoption\, Gadsden State Athletics will organize special events\, activities and experiences for the adopted families\, allowing them to become an integral part of the College's athletic community. The goal is to create a support system that extends beyond the conventional boundaries of a sports team\, providing comfort and encouragement to the children and their families.\n\nThe public and media are invited to attend.
