DESCRIPTION:The U.S. Census counts every person living in the U.S! We need YOUR help to ensure that every Etowah County citizen is counted! Etowah County stands to lose $1\,550 per person who is not counted and could lose a congressional seat.\n\n\n\nJoin us for a committee meeting to discuss the best ways to make sure each person is counted\, hosted by the Gadsden Public Library\, Gadsden State Community College and The Chamber of Gadsden & Etowah County. We will have a large group discussion followed by brainstorm breakout sessions at a later date in three sectors: education\, social service and public entities. We will also collect and share with all interested parties the activities that are already occurring in each of your sectors.
