Mr. Wilson has extensive experience and expertise involving both the construction and the various types of building materials utilized for boat docks\, piers\, boat houses\, decks\, seawalls etc. and will discuss the advantages and/or disadvantages of various building materials at this meeting. The discussion will involve the latest and best approved wood treatment and preservation methods as well as alternatives to wood that could be a better option. The goal of this meeting is to supply information that will assist anyone building (or planning to build) structures on or near the water to select the most appropriate and cost effective building material (i.e. the right type of approved treated wood or alternative material) for their particular project.
