The Wound Healing Center at Gadsden Regional Medical Center has been recognized with a national award for clinical excellence.\n\n\n\nThe Gadsden Regional Wound Healing Center achieved outstanding clinical outcomes for 12 consecutive months\, including patient satisfaction higher than 92 percent\, and a wound healing rate of at least 91 percent in less than 31 median days. Out of 630 Centers eligible for the Center of Distinction award\, 334 achieved this honor in 2017.\n\n\n\nAbout the Wound Care Center\n\nThe Gadsden Regional Wound Healing Center is located on the hospital's campus in the 300 Building\, Suite 201.  Open since August\, 2015\, over 350 patients have received care at Center which is operated with Dr. John Campbell serving as the Center's Medical Director and Dr. Steven Jackson\, Co-Medical Director.  Vicky Lamb is the Program Director and Mandy Vincent the Clinical Nurse Manager.
