The dangerously low blood supply levels have forced some hospitals to defer patients from major surgery\, including organ transplants. The YMCA of the Coosa Valley will be hosting a local blood donation program. Blood is desperately needed.\n\n\n\nGoal: 10 pints*\n\n*20 donors needed to sign up to reach capacity for the day\n\n \n\nThe American Red Cross is still enforcing precautionary measures like mandatory mask wearing and heightened sanitizing as well as following CDC guidance in all aspects of executing our blood drive operations as we continue to carry out our mission.
