6th Annual Habitat Dragon Boat Festival
Gadsden-Etowah Habitat for Humanity's annual fundraiser that pits teams of paddlers against one another on the Coosa River at Riverwalk Park. There are a series of exciting races on a 250 meter course that give particpants lasting memories and bragging rights for the year. Each team consisits of 24 people - 20 paddlers, 1 drummer, and 3 alternates. The steersperson is provided by Dynamic Dragon Boats LLC. Awards paddles and medals are given in the Competitive and Recreational Divisions for the top three fastest teams.
Registration is open through Friday, August 4, 2017.
