ADOR Offering Free Tax Workshop to Business Owners Gadsden-area Owners Invited on Feb. 16

GADSDEN, Jan. 12, 2016— Are you a new or current business owner with tax questions? Mark your calendar and attend the Alabama Department of Revenue’s free Business Workshop scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016, at 3 and 6 p.m., in Gadsden.

The workshop will be held at the Gadsden/ Etowah County Chamber of Commerce, 1 Commerce Square.

ADOR presenters will cover a variety of state tax information topics, including employer withholding  taxes, state and local sales taxes, property taxes, and business licensing requirements. An overview  of Alabama’s business tax electronic filing programs also will be presented. This is a great opportunity  to keep current and future business owners up to date with law changes, and it gives them a chance  to ask experts particular questions relating to their business.
