Percy Sledge is an internationally renowned artist whose career dates back to 1966 with the release of his most famous recording, “When a Man Loves a Woman.” During the ensuing years, he was a very sought-after artist who became as popular internationally as in the United States. His popularity was revived once again for a new generation of listeners when in 1987, “When a Man Loves a Woman” was selected by Oliver Stone for the soundtrack of the Academy Award winning film “Platoon.” Today, he continues to take concert-goers down memory lane as he enjoys a full concert schedule.
