“As a small business owner it is important to have a personal plan for retirement. In today’s environment it is also important to offer the benefit of a retirement plan to your employees. There are several options available including Simple IRA’s, SEP IRA’s, Solo 401K plans, Group 401K plans and Defined Benefit/Cash Balance plans. I will discuss each of these options as well as the new limits for 2019. We will also briefly discuss options to consider when thinking about what would happen to your business if you were disabled or passed away.”
