When you lose a good-long term employee, there are costs in time and money to recruit and hire replacement employees. Replacing the employee distracts from efforts that could make the organization more successful, rather than spending time recruiting, hiring, & training replacements.
 
Your best and most experienced employees are more likely to have greater impact in your organization than someone new on the job, which is why retaining your best employees should be one of your most important management responsibilities. For this session, we will highlight three areas:

• Assess six proactive retention strategies
• Identify reasons employees may leave
• Consider Employee recognition and development programs

Chamber Councils are monthly roundtable sessions hosted by The Chamber.
This event is typically held on the first Tuesday of each month and is intended to provide free professional networking with others with similar job functions in other companies.
