Gadsden Civil Rights Unity Walk
When: Saturday, February 28, 10AM
Where: Memorial Bridge on Broad St. (begins on the East Gadsden side of the bridge)

Join the Gadsden Public Library in a walk honoring the individuals from, and the events that took place in, Gadsden during the Civil Rights Movement. We will be joined by President of Southern Christian Leadership Conference, Mrs. Marcia Kendrick, who will address participants at 10AM and lead the walk across the Memorial Bridge on Broad Street. This walk will begin from the East Gadsden side of Memorial Bridge (near the Dollar General parking lot) and will end at the gazebo of Gadsden City Hall. Participants are encouraged to park in the Gadsden City Boat Dock parking lot. In the event of rain, the walk will not take place, but Mrs. Marcia Kendrick will speak at the Gadsden Public Library at 10AM.
