Gadsden State Cardinal Foundation Swoop Sprint 5K(Postponed from April 10th)
The Swoop Sprint 5K is a family-friendly scholarship fundraiser hosted by the Gadsden State Cardinal Foundation and Gadsden State Community College. The event will take place on April 17, 2021, on the Wallace Drive campus of Gadsden State Community College (the only run on the campus of Gadsden State Community College). The purpose of the event is to raise money for student scholarships so students can attend one of the six campuses of GSCC.

Cash prizes (1st place - $100, 2nd place - $50, 3rd place - $25) will be awarded to the top 3 overall male and female 5k participants and $25 will be awarded to the best male and female Swoop sprinter. Medals will be awarded to top 3 in each age group (excluding the overall winners). Age groupings are by 5-year increments.
Walkers and strollers are welcome!

Fees/Admission
Preregistration fee for Swoop Sprint is $25. Members of the Gadsden Runners Club, Anniston Runners Club and Gadsden State students, faculty or staff receive a $5 discount.
