Lifeguard Certification Classes

The YMCA is conducting a Lifeguard Certification over the Spring Break Holidays. These American Red Cross Life guarding classes taught at the YMCA are designed to teach you not only the basics in water safety but also the proper protocol when dealing with any emergencies around water.

Learn how to respond safely and efficiently to water emergencies with lifeguard classes from the American Red Cross. These classes are conducted in an indoor heated swimming pool at the YMCA of the Coosa Valley with COVID precautions in place.
