Lights of Love - Honoring the lives of the ones we love.

The holidays can be tough for grieving families. Remembering our loved ones in different ways can be a meaningful way to cope with loss. Lights of Love is a special opportunity to take a moment during the busy season to remember those we love.

When families do these memorial rituals together, they learn to cope and grow together, therefore strengthening their relationships and reducing risks for child abuse and neglect caused by grief.

By choosing one of the participation options, you not only honor your loved one but also help provide compassionate, individualized care to those coping with end-of-life issues by supporting the Shepherd’s Cove Foundation.

Light a candle in memory of your loved one during our Lights of Love event. When you choose any participation option, Shepherd’s Cove will light a luminary for your loved one as part of our Field of Love display on the front lawn of our facility in Albertville and include your loved one’s name in the SCH virtual tree. By registering online, you can include a special thought, memory or message about your loved one in the virtual memory book that accompanies their light.

We will send that person or their family a card to let them know about your kind gesture and information on how they can see the light and your message.

This virtual option gives more people the opportunity to participate and see the light of their loved one shining brightly, no matter their location. You can also easily share it on your own personal social media accounts.
