Moon Viewing at the GPL

This summer marks the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 landing on the moon, so we thought it would be wonderful to learn more about our orbital partner. Dr. Laura Weinkauf, Associate Professor of Physics at JSU, will lead us in a moon viewing with telescopes.

Join us for an all ages event! We will meet at the GPL , then walk across the street to the park. This event is after hours! We will begin at 7 P.M. in the Lena Martin Room when the library closes. Bring a blanket or chair to sit if you feel so inclined.
