Small Business Workshops(4-Part Webinar Series)

The workshops are a 4-Part Series led by Rick Zapata of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System. These workshops will be held by Zoom video conference. The sessions will be from 5:30-8 p.m. on June 8th, 10th, 15th, & 17th.

Together these workshops will help the participant develop a full-fledged business plan. 

Session 1 Starting a Business from Scratch: 
Selecting a product or service, business formation, business licenses, risk management. 

Session 2 Business Economic & Marketing:
Figuring a profit margin, consumer economics, selecting a market, employee issues. 

Session 3 Business Plans and Internet Sites: 
Short and long-term business plans and how to develop an internet site.

Session 4 Business Bookkeeping and Taxes: 
Federal and state tax requirements and monthly bookkeeping systems. 


The workshops are completely free, but you do need to register before the first session.
