Stitching Across Alabama

The Gadsden Museum of Art is proud to announce a call for entries for our upcoming “Stitching Across Alabama” Annual Quilt Show.  If you are a quilter, or own a quilt which has not been exhibited in a previous show at the GMA and would like to be a part of this year’s event, please click on the links below for entry forms and rules.  This is a crowd favorite, drawing people in from every corner of the state.  Last year more than 40 quilts from across Alabama were exhibited with themes from an antique quilt of Dwight Cotton Mill to a quilt featuring scenes from the “Twilight” trilogy.  Deadline for entries is August 27th.  The show will open September 9, 2013 and we will host an awards reception on Sunday, September 15, 2013 from 2-4pm with winners announced at 3:00pm.
