The Council on Aging of Etowah County 14th Annual Elder Abuse Summit

The Council on Aging will host its 14th annual Elder Abuse Summit.  This event is for seniors 55 and older or 50 with a disability and caregivers.  The Keynote speaker this year is the Alabama Securities Commission.
The information that will be addressed is:

• Steps to take to protect seniors from financial fraud
• Caregiver responsibilities concerning financial exploitation, protective laws and info. to report suspected financial fraud and actions you can take to make safe and informed investment decisions
