Thirteenth Annual Women's Health Update: "Women's Health During the Pandemic, A Focus on Resilience"

The Office of Women's Health Thirteenth Annual Women's Health Update will be held virtually from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, August 6, 2021. This year's theme is: Women's Health During the Pandemic, A Focus on Resilience. This event is a continuing education offering for registered nurses, nurse practitioners, social workers, dietitians, and other health care providers.

Purpose

The purpose of the conference is to disseminate scholarly work that is aimed at improving the health status of all women. Topics included the pandemic, stress management, nutrition, complementary and alternative medicine, preconception care and mental health issues. The conference provides a venue for scholars from various disciplines to share their latest projects and research findings with colleagues.

Continuing Education Credits

The Office of Women's Health Thirteenth Annual Women's Health Update will offer continuing education credits. The final list of contact hours is pending. Currently, the Women's Health Update will offer hours in the following disciplines:

• Nursing
• Social Work
• Dietetics

All registered participants are automatically entered for virtual door prizes. Winners will be chosen at random and contacted via email if selected.
