Eagle Rock provides homes for at-risk young men from disadvantaged backgrounds; providing both resources and opportunity conducive to healing for future success in life. Eagle Rock Boys' Ranch is blessed with a dynamic group of individuals devoted to "Going the Extra Mile" to bring hope and opportunity; believing that stronger individuals build a stronger community. We are passionate about equipping and empowering our boys to live healthy, productive lives as contributing members of society. We operate five homes in Etowah County, serving 20 young men at a time. Eagle Rock Boys' Ranch has been providing safe homes for boys since 1994, when the doors to the first home were opened. Boys at Eagle Rock Boys' Ranch have learned to survive rather than thrive. They come with histories of abuse, violence, and addictions. They have been exposed to environments that teach dependency on governmental assistance and lack strong work ethics, morals, values, and integrity. At Eagle Rock Boys' Ranch we place a sustained focus on developmental areas such as personal development, spiritual development, academics and educational resources, strong work ethic, appropriate conflict resolution, mentoring and building positive relationships, financial literacy, work skills, integrity, self-respect, respect for authority, giving back, self-discipline, and self-control. We are grateful to our generous community that joins with us in our mission to break the cycles of destructive behaviors and equip our boys to live as healthy, productive, and contributing members of society.
