Etowah County, AL- Project Search is a hands on 9 month training program for exiting seniors and youth age 18-24, designed to teach work place readiness skills and hands on trade skills for better employment opportunities. The program is a PAID training program for those individuals in need of work skills and job placement assistance. We are currently taking applications for the upcoming 2021-2022 calendar year! February 9th Open House Information
Our program in Etowah County is a partnership with several agencies to include Gadsden State Community College, Gadsden Regional Hospital, Gadsden Career Center, ARC of Jackson County and the Work Force Board. Our usual host site is Gadsden Regional Medical Center. This year due to COVID-19, we moved to Gadsden State Community College’s Campus with rotations conducted in 7-8 businesses in the local area within a 5-minute radius. This next August, 2021 will be the 7th year for Project SEARCH in Etowah County!
