Gadsden, AL (September 21st, 2026)— Gadsden Regional Medical Center will host its 3rd Annual Brake for Breakfast on Thursday, October 1st, from 7-9 AM at Gadsden Regional Imaging, located at 3502 Rainbow Drive in Rainbow City, in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Community members are invited to stop in, pick up breakfast, women’s health information, and a pink gift while learning more about the importance of routine mammograms and early detection.

Gadsden Regional is partnering with Never Surrender and other community organizations to encourage women to prioritize their breast health and stay up to date on recommended screenings.

“Brake for Breakfast is one more way we can reach outside our hospital walls to care for the people and families who call this community home,” said Michael Hall, CEO of Gadsden Regional Medical Center. “We want to be there for our community not only when someone needs us, but also through efforts that promote prevention, education and healthier lives. Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers affecting women, and regular screening can help detect breast cancer earlier, when it may be easier to treat.
