Downtown Gadsden will host First Friday on 4th of July for the first time in nearly a decade. They'll bring out the charm for a patriotic edition of First Friday. Expect classic cars, live music, and shops and restaurants staying open late so you can enjoy local eats and treats as you stroll the street.
5:00 PM – 11:00 PM | 411 Street Closure by the Coosa
Highway 411 (Albert Rains Blvd) will be closed to vehicles and opened up for pedestrian traffic along the riverfront. Catch live performances from Jon Player, Adam Swann, and Nash County at Riverside Park, right where the seasonal ice rink was located. Kids can enjoy a dedicated activity area at Moragne Park.
7:00-10:00PM PM | Food Truck Extravaganza at the Etowah Chamber, 1 Commerce Square
For the foodies and fireworks fans alike, the Etowah Chamber will host a food truck party with snow cones, coffee, BBQ, tacos, and more, plus enjoy a great view in town for the fireworks show later in the evening.
9:00 PM | Fireworks Show at Memorial Bridge
This year’s grand finale will light up the night sky as fireworks launch from Broad Street Bridge also known as Memorial Bridge. Best viewing spots for the show will include Highway 411, Broad Street, Moragne Park, Coosa Landing docks, and the docks near Buffalo Wild Wings.

Looking for something away from the hustle and bussle? Beans and Greens Restaurant will host their annual laid-back celebration with fireworks on the outskirts in Ballplay—a perfect option for families wanting to avoid the crowds.
