The Chamber of Gadsden & Etowah County recently announced their search for a President & CEO-Elect pending the departure of Christi Robinson, who is stepping down to pursue a business opportunity. The Chamber’s leadership has assembled a hiring committee that will facilitate the search for President & CEO-Elect.
“It has been such an exciting time with Christi at the helm of the Chamber,” said Board Chair Bethanne Mashburn of The Alley and The Factory. “We are so grateful for her dedication to the Chamber and look forward to continuing to have her involved as a member and volunteer. The hiring committee will soon be hard at work finding our next President & CEO to lead us as we continue to serve as a strong and positive voice for area businesses.”
Board Chair-Elect Barry Cherry said, “We have greatly appreciated Christi’s leadership and the partnerships she has built during her time at The Chamber.”
“It was a very difficult decision to leave The Chamber. I have made deep and lasting connections during my time at The Chamber and I will carry those relationships with me throughout the remainder of my life,” said Robinson. “But I am very excited to expand the use of my skills and focus my efforts on the areas of my current role that I love the most – helping businesses to be successful. I have the utmost confidence in the Board’s selection process and am excited to begin this transition.”
The Chamber is currently accepting applications for President & CEO-Elect. Interested candidates can submit a cover letter, professional resume, three professional references, and salary expectations to president@etowahchamber.org by 5 p.m. October 31st
