ATTALLA, AL - Etowah Chamber, along with the City of Attalla, recently joined The Chill Spot to celebrate its one-year anniversary with a ribbon cutting and community event. Since opening in 2023, The Chill Spot has quickly become a local favorite for sweet treats, offering ice cream, shaved ice, brownie sundaes, banana splits, milkshakes, and more. The Etowah Chamber’s 12th Annual Celebrate Local Business Expo was one for the books. Held July 31 at The Venue at Coosa Landing, this year’s event drew over 1,000 attendees from across the county, making it the largest in the Expo’s history. Guests enjoyed meeting the people behind more than 80 local businesses, sampling food from area restaurants and food trucks, playing games, and voting for their favorites in the Best Taste of Etowah and booth categories.
