
ALBERTVILLE, Ala. — BAP Agency, LLC announces its official recognition as a certified Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) through the U.S. Small Business Administration, effective June 23, 2026. The certification arrives one day before the agency's 10-year anniversary, a timing that the team considers fitting.
"We have been working toward this for a while, and the fact that it came together in time for our anniversary celebration feels like the right kind of milestone to walk into our next chapter with," said Beth Ann Parnell, Founder, CEO, President, and Creative Director of BAP Agency.
The WOSB Federal Contract program, administered by the SBA, helps level the playing field for women business owners by "limiting competition for certain federal contracts to businesses that participate in the program." Certified firms become eligible to compete for set-aside contracts in industries where women-owned businesses are underrepresented.
For BAP Agency, the designation is both a recognition and a door. The agency, already GSA-eligible with an active UEI (XFK5RKTXMGK3) and CAGE code (18W66), has been building the foundation for federal contracting work alongside its established client base. WOSB certification is a significant step in that direction, and the agency is actively working toward preferred vendor status for government contracting, an announcement it expects to make in the months ahead.
This news comes as BAP Agency prepares to mark a decade in business. Founded on June 24, 2016, by Beth Ann Parnell, the agency has grown from a home-based solopreneur operation into a full-service team of multi-disciplinary professionals skilled in graphic design, digital content, social media strategy, promotional product sourcing, and multimedia production.
In nearly 10 years, the agency has seen a 751% increase in total gross revenue, an 8.5x growth from its founding year. The agency also holds an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, a standing it has maintained since receiving accreditation in September 2023.
