Gadsden, AL – The Etowah Chamber was excited to join Riverview Regional Medical Center and the local community in celebrating the grand opening of Riverview Pulmonology Associates. The practice, led by Dr. Sikander Zulqarnain, provides specialized care for conditions affecting the lungs and respiratory system. Pulmonology focuses on diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases that impact breathing, including chronic conditions like asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and sleep apnea, as well as acute issues such as infections and pneumonia.
Guests at the ribbon-cutting enjoyed a festive atmosphere filled with smiles, laughter, and an outpouring of community support for the new practice. Dr. Zulqarnain and his team greeted attendees, answered questions, and shared information about the range of services they offer. These include pulmonary function testing, sleep studies, bronchoscopy procedures, asthma management, COPD care, and guidance for patients with lung infections or other respiratory illnesses.
