Riverview Celebrates Remodeling of Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center

GADSDEN, AL. – The Etowah Chamber recently joined Riverview Regional Medical Center for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the hospital’s newly upgraded Wound Care & Hyperbaric Center and to welcome Dr. Josh Williams as the new Medical Director.

Riverview Regional’s Wound Care & Hyperbaric Center provides specialized treatment for patients with chronic, non-healing wounds. Using advanced therapies, including state-of-the-art hyperbaric oxygen therapy, the center helps improve blood flow, fight infection, and accelerate healing. This is particularly beneficial for patients with diabetic foot ulcers, radiation injuries, traumatic wounds, and other complex conditions that require highly specialized care.

“Through the Wound Care & Hyperbaric Center, our goal is to restore health and quality of life to patients who often feel like they’ve run out of options,” said Dr. Josh Williams. “With the latest technology and a dedicated team, we’re able to bring world-class wound care to our community.”

The Chamber congratulates Riverview Regional Medical Center on this important milestone and applauds its investment in improving the health and well-being of Etowah County residents.
