The Bluff Amphitheater Announces Ribbon Cutting

The Etowah County Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to enhancing the area’s economy and being an advocate and resource for employers.

After months of hard work and sweat equity, THE BLUFF AMPHITHEATER is ready to open the gates to an exciting new concert venue and let the public see the results! A ribbon-cutting ceremony, hosted by the Etowah Chamber, will be held at the amphitheater on Monday, May 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.

The event will feature a formal ribbon-cutting, tours of the renovated property, and the exciting announcement of the venue’s first show featuring The Frontmen on June 6, 2026. Local officials, community leaders, and project partners are expected to attend.

Formerly known as the Gold City Music Park, The Bluff Amphitheater has a long and proud history of providing quality musical entertainment to the northeast Alabama region.

Owners Josh Santos, Chad Lee, and Drake White have lovingly restored the venue, its infrastructure, and the campground area, with the goal of returning the amphitheater to its former glory while modernizing and improving the experience for music fans and community members.

The venue is designed to host a wide range of performances and community events. The seating area can accommodate between 6,000 – 7,000 guests with bench seating and a grassy lawn area immediately in front of the stage. The stage is a covered, full-size professional stage with
infrastructure to support modern, professional touring concert productions.

The public and the media are encouraged to attend this special event. Video, photo, and interview opportunities will be available with the owners and community leaders.
